Northern Arizona Kung Fu teaches the internal martial arts of Xingyi, Bagua, and Taiji Quan. Our primary goals are to teach self-defense and develop qi. You'll learn self-defense by practicing forms with martial intent and by exploring how to apply the moves and postures. You'll become aware of the energy of qi through qigong postures, exercises, Chinese medical theory and massage training and learn to use the energy in both self-defense and healing. Our training includes individual, two-person, and multi-person forms and drills. We work to bring all our students awareness and ability to a more advanced level!
New students of any experience level are welcome now!

David Nicoletti Biography:
I started studying Kajukenbo and Taiji with Vince Black in 1976 and was promoted to 6th degree black belt by Vince and Sijo Emperado in 1991. I began training Shen Long Xingyi in 1978, when Vince Black introduced me to John Price's school in the Torrance, California. I received my black belt from Master Hsu Hongchi and was one of the founding instructors of the NATSTA where I served as one of the assistance directors. I began training in Bagua with Vince Black in in 1979. I was introduced to the Gao Yisheng system in 1994 on the first NATSTA research trip to China. That same year, after the birth of my daughter, I focused my training on Xingyi, Bagua, and Taiji, which I continue to train and teach to this day.
